My career background includes 12 years as a pastor in Christian ministry, 9 years as a high- profile child abuse investigator for the state of Arizona, (1500 investigations), and then 10 years as the Statewide Director of Foster Care for a major faith-based foster and adoption agency. During this time, I opened two Christian mental health centers, and was certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist.
In 2023, I published "SOUL RESTORE", a workbook available on Amazon, This SOUL RESTORE WORKBOOK is a Christian faith-based approach to resolving past traumatic events, painful experiences, and times of toxic stress. Currently I am training pastors and doing pastoral trauma coaching, and seeing God powerfully heal and restore many from the pain of their unprocessed hurts.
I am excited to be a coach for the CHOOSE FREEDOM PROGRAM, founded by Rose Ann Forte. Jesus came to set the captive free, and this program takes a bold approach in using God's Word, and the research of neuroscience, to truly and successfully support changing one's relationship with alcohol and other substances!
Many times, alcohol and substances are a way of self-medicating. SOUL RESTORE gives me as a CHOOSE FREEDOM coach, the unique tools and experience to address and resolve the underlying painful issues for which we often use alcohol and substances to numb the pain. Jesus came to bring freedom, and that includes freedom from the psychological slavery to alcohol and other substances!
